Summary: For the second time in one day, Major Hinkle led the 401st aircraft assigned to bomb German rocket launching sites on the French coast. The 12 aircraft provided by the 401st, flying as the 94th Combat Wing "B" formation, were able to drop visually, synchronizing on intersecting roads in the middle of the target area. Results were good, the bomb pattern covering the entire target area.
No enemy aircraft were sighted, and flak was meager and inaccurate.
