can anyone give me some information on Kingman Arizona's boneyard? Is there any way to contact them or find out what planes are still around?? I'd appreciate any info. Thanks!

The only "boneyard" of military planes that exists today is next to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ and consists of Vietnam era and later aircraft for the most part. The company that runs it is AMARC. There is also a Pima Air Museum nearby with a pretty good collection of older planes in a variety of conditions. There are some small "boneyards" around, but Davis-Monthan is the official one.

Donna, while Kingman is no longer an official USAF boneyard, the local community has been trying to establish a museum on the old site to commemorate the field's role in WWII, especially as a boneyard in the post-war era. While there are no remaining aircraft, I understand they have collected photographic evidence of many of the aircraft stored there after the war. I haven't looked recently, but I believe you might find a contact number on the Web.
