Who can tell me if Capt. R.H.Kaufman and 2nd LT R.C. Fitzgerald from the 401st Bomb group (H) 614th Bomb Squadron are still alive? And does anyone where they live.
It's because I try to find out more about Mr. Kaufman's crew during the flight of december 11th 1943. (MARC 8711). B-17 42-31098.
Me and my family adopted the grave of 2nd LT F.B. Robinson at the American War Cemetary in Margraten (Holland) and want to learn everything about the man who gave his life to free our country from the Germans.

The 401st 2005 directory lists Richard H. Kaufman (614th Sq.) at 608 W. 14th Ave., Bellevue NE 68005-3335 and phone: 402-291-5583. No email address listed.

My father Richard H. (Dick) Kaufman is still alive. I don't believe he will remember much, but I will bring this up to him next time I visit with him.
