The Enlisted Heritage Hall is the only museum of its kind in the Air Force.  Part of the Enlisted Heritage Research Institute, the Enlisted Heritage Hall offers visitors a unique glimpse at our country's rich history of military aviation.  Specifically, it reveals the story of our enlisted force's contributions to the development of military aviation in America.  Located at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Alabama, the facility hosts thousands of people each year who learn from its educational, enlightening, and fascinating story.  Exibits range from the early days of ballooning and run through the present.  The Hall is open Tuesday-Saturday, from 7AM to 4PM, but is closed on holidays.  Admission is free.  You can obtain more info by calling (334) 416-3202 or by visiting their website at http://AFEHRI.Maxwell.af.mil.  Anyone wishing to donate items for display can contact CMSgt Malcolm McVicar at malcolm.mcvicar@maxwell.af.mil or by writing him at 550 McDonald Street, MAFB-Gunter Annex, AL  36114-3107.  This is a great museum and a fitting testimony to the honor, courage, and sacrifice of our enlisted airmen throughout Air Force history.  I encourage you to visit if you're in Montgomery, Alabama.
