I am sad today. My father would have been 80 tomorrow. He passed away on May 28th. He was A member of the Association. He was in the 615th squadron. I had been blessed by the fact that I was able in part by the association to reunite him with his former pilot, Bill McIlraith. They did enjoy several phone calls over the past 2 years. It had been over 50 years scince they had talked. We were so proud of him and his service. I will continue to be a member of the association on behalf of our family.

Brian:

Please don't be sad -- your Father lived a long and productive life and you were able to share with him.  So many of them didn't get to come home like your Dad, or my Dad -- Capt Joseph Conley, Group Gunnery Officer.

Thanks for sharing him with all of us for all this time!
